Salon study: screens, textile and structural rhythm

A 52-metre yacht interior study combining traditional Japanese spatial principles with a contemporary textile and material palette.

Integral Japan interprets Japanese spatial principles through screens, framed sea views and a measured structural rhythm. The authored yacht plan connects this layered interior with the arrangement of the Baglietto T52, while the table, seating and stair studies develop its character at the scale of furniture.

Three textiles selected from the F.FRI archive form a starting point for the project’s patterns, colours and material relationships. The proposal brings these motifs into the interior and its furniture, connecting textile research with a contemporary marine setting.

Form follows music.
As you move through the space, corridor becomes feminine, you become the masculine.
Invisible light is hidden in d-archness that ego does not seek.
