A public crossing becomes a cultural place

The bridge is conceived as a connection, a gateway and a public square. Its entrance hall frames views toward the city and parliamentary district, turning a route across the river into a place to meet, pause and participate.
Three theatre settings explore Brechtian, Boalian and traditional performance alongside a theatre school. A regular structural grid holds these different spaces together; sections and interior perspectives reveal the relationship between passage, gathering and the stage.
Project team: Denislav Sokolov, Elnur Islamov, Li Ye and Fatemeh Porghodrat. Design studio with Prof. Stefan Vieths, Politecnico di Milano. Academic architectural proposal.

Architectural drawings, models and visualisations are design representations; project status is stated separately.
Form follows music.
As you move through the space, corridor becomes feminine, you become the masculine.
Invisible light is hidden in d-archness that ego does not seek.
